Request for sending an international, non-governmental

Group to Investigate human right situation in Iran

Translation of the request of a group of Iranian human right activist’s organizations on the occasion of December the 10th, the international human right’s day, including a short report of human right situation in Iran.

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mrs Navanethem Pillay!

Human Rights Defenders' International Committee!

Iranian Governmental authorities have always claimed that human right is respected in Iran and they have organized their propaganda based on such claim. In spite of this pretension and according to various reports from human right organizations, like our reports, as one of these organizations who is monitoring human right in Iran consistently, human right is violated in a Widespread, planned and systematic way.

According to the number of cases in the 2008 report (see the annexe), which are gathered mainly of the authorised inside of Iran’s sources, human right was violated more severely than last year, in different ways such as:

Increased number of death penalties, execution sentences for people under 18, increased number of students, political, social and cultural activists’ arrested and tried, submitting women in different areas, fired and unemployed workers and violating their premier rights, submitting minority religious and ethical groups and ….

Here by, we ask humbly from the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights; Mrs Navanethem Pillay   and Human Rights Defenders' International Committees, to make a serious attempt on sending an international, non-governmental  group to investigate human right situation in Iran, so subsequently ways on judging human right situation in Iran would become more even and making decisions for according acts would be possible.

We (as signed) ask all human right defenders to react against human right violation in Iran and execute what they have access to, for the favour of human right in Iran.
